Danielle Erkelens earned a her registration as a nurse in 1989 from the St. Jansgasthuis in Weert, Netherlands. Prior to joining MAPS as a Freelance CRA, Danielle worked in and with pharmaceutical companies, clinical research organizations, and university groups as a clinical research nurse, study coordinator, data manager, clinical consultant, and clinical research associate (CRA).

At MAPS, Danielle is serving as CRA for the Netherlands, focusing on clinical trial start-up and monitoring activities. Danielle joined MAPS as she believes that this new generation of treatments will have a huge impact on patient health care. In her free time, Danielle loves to travel, canoeing and hiking, painting, and reading.
